NBC’s Friday Night Lights

I’m not incapable of suspension of disbelief. A two hour movie that spans several years doesn’t bother me. I even kinda liked the flying luck-dragon in The Neverending Story, but that’s not the point. If you have a TV show called Friday Night Lights, why on earth would you schedule it for Tuesday night? Yes I can use the TV guide. Yes I can look things up on the Internet. But do you want to put an extra obstacle in front of a lazy ass like me who just wants to watch some mediocre TV?

It's a show about small-town Friday night football that gets aired on a Tuesday. I get that. But what night is Monday Night Football on? Case closed.

Where are people who like small-town football on Friday nights? Oh right, at the real game.

Their target market isn't home on Friday night.

Since we're talking about crappy shows that make no sense, can someone PLEASE tell me how these CSI's are doing so great. Forensics is some of the most boring tedious work EVER. Add some weird synthesized sounds with a back beat and BANG...it's cool man....NOT!

Plus, none of them are cops. What Police Department would ever let a bunch of civilians with brushes and tape investigate a case. Nobody would ever watch a show about a bunch of Hospital custodial staff operating on patients, so why do people watch that garbage?

I'm seriously disturbed.

Things that make me angry: People that start something and develop a small following and then NEVER bother to update anymore.

I understand anonymous commenters piss a lot of bloggers off and (or) sap their will to update as often... weird.

Hey AngryMan:

We've had kind of a serious situation going on over at my site: I am asking for some help from the personal finance bloggers to help spread the word.

SEE: Press Release

I sent out a press release to notify Canadians of a potential bogus demand letter scam.

PROBLEM AS FOLLOWS:
After a few postings on our forum about Deanna Natale and Natale Law Office in Feb-Mar 2007, there were hundreds of visits to our site from others who were presumably receiving the same letters.
Main Thread: http://www.canadian-money-advisor.ca/threadview/457.html

In the press release I've included some tips as to what people can do to determine if they've actually received a bogus demand letter.

If you could write a small alert in your main area, it would be much appreciated.
