Monkey Chow Diaries: Day 6

Day 6 video is now posted. Thanks to PeeWee in Montreal for the motivational picture shown at the end. Feeling very tired today. Concentrating on water and as much food as I can stomache. Will respond to some more blog comments later today.

I just stumbled onto your mockey chow diaries and I just wanted to say I think you're crazy, and there should be more people out there willing to try monkey food for a week for no real reason. You have encouraged me to carry on being my crazy self.

Keep going! x

I'm not quite sure why I keep checking back with you. I am glad to see you finally said something about the fact that there are people out there who would be happy to have monkey chow to feed themselves and their children. Maybe here in the land of Hungry Ghosts, always starving for the next new thing, we who have so little self knowlege do need you to tell us what hunger is like. I know plenty of overly thin women who know, though they would never admit it. That's another story..starving for love. Anyway you don't have far to go. I fasted for 10 days once. Not easy but the first 2 days were the hardest. Eating monkey chow is probably worse. Do you miss doing dishes?

You mentioned you were allowing black coffee as well as vodka as part of the diet -- may I make a suggestion? Why not dunk the monkey chow in the coffee, as a kind of monkey-chow biscotti? Has to be better than the vodka, right? Then again, in the six days you have had to contemplate the not-very-numerous combos of monkey chow, coffee, and vodka, you have probably already thought of this.

This is a very interesting experiment -- I've often wondered if my cats get tired of eating the same food every day. Perhaps this explains their constant glaring. I'd better make sure I don't eat a hot dog in front of them.

I have, as emotional support supplied you with the monkey entries from my blog. I hope this helps you in some way. Remember to hydrate, oh and scratch yourself somwhere embarrassing in public.

Hooray for Monkey Man! We didn't get a poop update today. Hopefully it's still flingable.

Are you having weird dreams -- or are you getting so little sleep that you have no dreams at all? I'm guessing you're dreaming about food.

Angry, some important questions that need to be answered before the end of Day 7:

1. First bite: steak or banana?
2. Cooler sidekick: Bubbles, Koko, or the Trunk Monkey?
3. How far can you toss a standard Samsonite carry-on?
4. Are you developing any unusual cravings for: a) body lice?
b) playground apparati? c) cuddling with Sigourney Weaver?
5. From standing, what's your current vertical ability?
6. Scooby: Scientist, mad genius, or sucker-baiter?

Please, your public needs to know!

Monkey boy, how do you see the popularity of monkey chow a year from now? Should I be trying to corner the market?

P.S. If you don't "make it" to the end can I have your computer equipment?
