Day 6 Video

Day 6 video is now posted. Thanks to PeeWee in Montreal for the motivational picture shown at the end. Feeling very tired today. Concentrating on water and as much food as I can stomache. Will respond to some more blog comments later today.

Don't make a burger your first chow-free meal.

You must, simply must, end the chow diet with a banana.

I agree - not to mention the burger might make you sick after only eating monkey chow for a week.

You do know that they feed monkeys in zoo's, ect, with more than just "monkey chow"? They also get a balance of fruits and vegetables throughout the day.

Congrats on day 6! I'll be thinking of you tonight when I order a large pizza with thin crust instead of thick and will only go with one topping (pepperoni) instead of fully loaded.

Yours truly,
marisa

Your almost done, hang in there.

I have to say, I just discovered you today and, as a result, I have gotten very little work done. You are now one of my heros and, unlike the non-committal girl from day 5, I know I love you.
Was this all part of a bet that you lost to Scooby, the "scientist"? In any case, I hope that vodka was involved when the plan was spawned.

hey there, angryman... i'm reading a book called "the omnivore's dilemma," by michael pollan... it deals with a lot of the issues you've been discovering this week, and more. i'd like to recommend it to you.

good luck, hang in there, and best wishes.

MonkeyMan,
I gotta give you props. This a very courageous venture of yours. May I recommend soaking your kibble in gin next time as it may taste better.

You have to ease back into human food. Eat something light and work up to a fat, juicy steak. This way you will avoid further gastric upset.
Yogurt would be a good place to start.

Thanks for making me laugh! You are my MonkeyMan hero!

I only found out about this yesterday, but I'm already a big fan. Like Andrea said above, your blog has been the mainstay of my latest work-avoidance techniques for the past day and a half. For that at least, I salute you. The Day 6 video diary was hilarious--particularly the vodka-chow cocktail. I can hardly wait for you to get your final day freak on.
